To ensure consistency across the supply chain, the Ryoyo Group has updated its Code of Conduct, based on the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct. The Code outlines the fundamental principles that guide officer and employee conduct. This includes compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the countries and regions in which the Group operates, respect for international norms, and the Ryoyo Group’s duty to fulfill its social responsibilities.

The power semiconductors provided by the Ryoyo Group are used in photovoltaic systems, where reducing power loss is an important goal, as well as in railway vehicle equipment that uses large amounts of electricity. Our products help manufacturers reduce the environmental impact of their equipment.
The Ryoyo Group has identified “addressing climate change issues” for specific action as it addresses environmental issues, which is one of the material issues the Group identified for its sustainability initiatives. We are carrying out information disclosure based on the TCFD recommendations, while striving to improve the overall quality and quantity of the information disclosed.
The Ryoyo Group supports “Pilgrimage Route Environmental Conservation Activities for 100,000 Participants,” a campaign run by Wakayama Prefecture to help protect and utilize the “Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range,” a World Heritage site. In 2019, Ryoyo employees took part in a related restoration activity, the Kumano Kodo Michi Bushin Walk.

The Ryoyo Group seeks to contribute to society by supporting the next generation and building comfortable workplace environments where employees can balance work and child-rearing responsibilities and fully demonstrate their potential.
The Ryoyo Group is working to support the healthcare field by providing support services for the adoption of online qualification verification, by providing products that help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and by donating to the Cancer Institute Hospital of JFCR.
In addition to mainstay corporate activities, the Group is also promoting the sport of table tennis along with revitalization of local communities as a new sponsor of the T.League, Japan’s premier professional table tennis league. In order to ensure the independence of the candidates Ryoyo Electro recommends for outside officer positions (Outside Director and Outside Audit & Supervisory Board Member), it has formulated criteria for the selection of outside officers.
Since people are the most valuable management resource of the Ryoyo Group, the Group has established a Disaster Prevention Policy to protect human life. The policy also aims to minimize damage and allow business activities to resume as soon as possible in the event of a disaster.
